Ann has earned the CFP designation from the International Board of Standards and Practices for Certified Financial Planners. Ann is a member of the Raleigh Professional Women's Forum. She has served as a member of the Tax Advisory Board for the N.C. Department of Revenue and is a member and former president of the Wake County Estate Planning Council. Ann is active in a number of charitable organizations, including 20 years of volunteer service to The Jimmy V Celebrity Golf Classic, in support of The V Foundation for Cancer Research. Ann received a bachelor of science degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Ann retired from Batchelor, Tillery & Roberts, LLP at the end of 2019.
