Emily has over twenty years of public accounting experience, specializing in assurance services.  She has extensive experience with large and small companies in varying industries, including not-for-profits, construction, higher education, manufacturing, healthcare, and engineering services.  Prior to joining Batchelor, Tillery & Roberts, LLP in March 2011, Emily worked for KPMG in the Raleigh office for five years.

Emily is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants. She volunteers with Habitat for Humanity and the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina. She and her family are members of Church of the Holy Cross Raleigh. 

Emily received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from North Carolina State University and a Masters in Accounting from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
