Michelle has over twenty-eight years of public accounting experience and over three years in industry concentrating in the area of taxation. She has extensive experience with C Corporations, ranging from small to large multinational corporations, S Corporations, partnerships, and high wealth individuals. She began her career in the corporate sector for a physician management company and later was Tax Manager for one of the state's largest privately owned companies. Prior to joining Batchelor, Tillery & Roberts, LLP in 2013, Michelle worked in the Raleigh office of Ernst & Young LLP for over thirteen years.

Michelle is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants.

Michelle received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from East Carolina University.
