Scott has over thirty-five years of public accounting experience, specializing in assurance services.  He has extensive experience with large and small companies in varying industries, including not-for-profits, manufacturing, construction,  investment funds, service providers, agribusiness, and employee benefit plans.  Prior to joining Batchelor, Tillery & Roberts, LLP in 2007, Scott worked for KPMG in their Raleigh office for nineteen years.

Scott is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants.  Scott has served in leadership positions for various organizations, and he is also an active member of St. Mark’s United Methodist Church.

Scott received a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
